Stainless steel barrel nipples are short threaded pipe sections with male NPT/BSPT ends and a smooth unthreaded middle barrel, used to connect two female fittings while providing precise spacing. Made from 316 or 304 grades, they offer excellent corrosion resistance for industrial and marine applications.​

For 1/2" BSP (Sch 40), OD measures 21.3 mm, thread length (B) 15 mm, overall length (L) 60 mm. A 1" size shows 33.7 mm OD, B 19.1 mm, L 60 mm; 2" reaches 60.3 mm OD, B 25.7 mm, L 100 mm.​

Available in lengths 40-120 mm per Sch 40 standards, sizes 1/8" to 4" NPS, pressure-rated to 150-300 psi. Threads meet BSPT/NPT with acid-cleaned finishes free of contaminants.

Stainless steel 304 socket weld (SW) hex nipples are forged fittings featuring plain ends for socket weld connections and a central hexagonal section for wrench installation, designed for high-pressure branching in corrosive environments. Made from ASTM A182 F304 grade, they provide excellent corrosion resistance and strength up to 800°C per ASME B16.11 standards.​

For 1/2" Class 3000 SW hex nipple: socket bore (B) 15.8 mm, wall thickness (G) 3.7 mm, depth (J) 13.5 mm, hex width (W) 22 mm. A 1" size shows B 27.3 mm, G 4.6 mm, J 18.0 mm, W 27 mm.​
