Material Composition

ASTM A182 F304L specifies ≤0.035% carbon, ≤2.00% manganese, ≤0.75% silicon, 18.0-20.0% chromium, 8.0-13.0% nickel, P≤0.045%, and S≤0.030% to reduce carbide precipitation in welds.  ​

Mechanical Properties

These flanges deliver minimum 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, and 35% elongation, with suitability for temperatures up to 800°C.  ​
