Stainless steel flanges are forged or cast components used to connect pipes, valves, and pumps in industrial piping systems, offering superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments. They adhere to standards like ASME B16.5, ASTM A182, and ANSI, with common grades including 304, 316, and 316L for applications in chemicals, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals.

Main Types
  • Weld Neck Flange: Tapered hub provides strength and stress reduction for high-pressure lines.

  • Slip-On Flange: Slides over pipe ends and welds inside/outside, cost-effective for moderate pressures.

  • Blind Flange: Seals pipe ends, used for testing or isolation.

  • Socket Weld & Threaded: For smaller, high-pressure pipes with welding or threading.

Key Specifications

Flanges range from Class 150 to 2500, sizes 1/2" to 60", with raised face (RF), flat face (FF), or ring type joint (RTJ) faces for gasketing. SS 304/316 ensures durability up to 1000°F.

IBR alloy steel elbows meet stringent Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) for high-pressure steam and boiler applications. Manufacturers like Ace Alloys LLP produce these fittings in grades such as ASTM A234 WP5, WP9, WP11, and WP91 for superior strength in elevated temperatures.
Material GradesCommon IBR-approved alloy steels include WP1, WP5, WP9, WP11, WP12, WP22, and WP91, offering creep resistance up to 600°C. These elbows feature precise chemistry with chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium for oxidation and corrosion resistance. Ace Alloys LLP certifies them with IBR Form III C and NDT reports.
SpecificationsAvailable in seamless (up to 24" NB) or welded construction (up to 48" NB), sizes range from 1/2" to 48" NB in SCH 10 to XXS. Angles include 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, with long radius (1.5D) or short radius (1D) bends per ASME B16.9. Pressure ratings suit 150-2500 LBS classes.

SS 304 eccentric reducers are stainless steel buttweld fittings that connect pipes of different diameters while maintaining bottom alignment, ideal for drainage systems and pump inlets to prevent air pockets.

Material Composition

Made from ASTM A403 WP304 grade, these contain up to 0.08% carbon, ≤2.00% manganese, ≤0.75% silicon, 18.0-20.0% chromium, 8.0-11.0% nickel, P≤0.045%, and S≤0.030% for corrosion resistance in mild environments.

Mechanical Properties

They offer minimum 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, and 35% elongation, suitable for Class 150-2500 pressures and temperatures up to 800°C.

Dimensions and Standards

Per ASME B16.9, sizes range 1/2"-60" NB in SCH 10S-XXS (e.g., 3/4"x1/2": large OD 26.9mm, small 21.3mm, height 38mm, 0.08kg; 2"x1": height 51mm, 0.31kg).
