SS 316L WNRF flanges are forged stainless steel weld neck raised face flanges made from low-carbon austenitic alloy, ideal for high-pressure, corrosive environments in chemical, marine, and pharmaceutical piping systems.  ​

ASTM A182 F316L grade contains ≤0.03% carbon, ≤2.0% manganese, ≤0.75% silicon, 16.0-18.0% chromium, 10.0-14.0% nickel, 2.0-3.0% molybdenum, P≤0.045%, and S≤0.030% for excellent pitting resistance.  ​

Mechanical Properties

These flanges offer minimum 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, and 35% elongation, with density of 8.0 g/cm³ and service from cryogenic temperatures to 870°C.  ​

Stainless Steel Duplex Flanges are high-strength fittings made from duplex stainless steel grades like UNS S31803, S32205 (2205), or S32750 (2507), combining austenitic and ferritic microstructures for superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.​

These flanges meet ASTM A182 standards for forged or rolled alloy-steel pipe flanges, primarily grades F51 (S31803/S32205) and F53 (S32750). Chemical composition features ~22% chromium, 5-6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, nitrogen for pitting resistance, with PREN values exceeding 35-40 for chloride environments.​

Duplex flanges offer tensile strength of 620-860 MPa, yield strength ≥450 MPa, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and fatigue strength twice that of 316L stainless steel. They withstand temperatures from -50°C to 300°C and suit high-pressure applications up to Class 2500.​
